Luminescent mother of pearl flickers with all the colours of the rainbow behind a graceful open setting of Art Nouveau design. Two ribbons of silver stretch across the expanse of mother of pearl, flowing over and under the edge to form mirror-image curls above and below. A single piece of sterling silver is carefully cut, sculpted and engraved to create this elegant, fully three-dimensional setting. The brooch has a beautiful, substantial feel and is accompanied by a card explaining the Edinburgh hallmark.
