Milton Keynes Christmas Cabins, centre:mk, Middleton Hall

Find a little holiday cheer at the annual Christmas Craft Cabins adjacent to Santa’s Grotto and John Lewis in Middleton Hall. Our cabin is near the corner opposite Next and John Lewis. Unfortunately we cannot make it this November. But, as in previous years, will be there for the last two weeks before Christmas. Hope to see you all then.

Haddon Hall Mercatum Christmas Artisan Market

A wonderful seasonal market of the finest craft and artisanal products in Derbyshire and beyond, beautifully presented in the 900 year old hall and grounds.

Visitors will have plenty of time to browse, shop and enjoy the wonderful range of food and gift choices available.  Marquees will be located outdoors within the courtyard and on the Fountain and Bowling Green terraces of the gardens, as well as within some of the rooms of the Hall. This promises to be a fun shopping experience and a great opportunity to find something a little out of the ordinary for family and friends.

The Mercatum Winter Artisan Markets are hugely popular, so booking ahead is advised. Please note that the market runs Wednesday through Sundays only so is not open on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd December.

Blair Castle Horse Trials

The Blair Castle International Horse Trials will take place at Blair Castle for the last time in 2024. The event has been hosted at Blair for 35 years and will go ahead this year as planned in a farewell celebration.

Located on Atholl Estates, Blair Atholl, Perthshire, the Horse Trials take place against the stunning backdrop of Blair Castle and the Highlands. The castle and gardens are also open to the public during the event.

It is a great family day out, with a renowned shopping village, food hall, award-winning food/catering offerings, a children’s fair and much more.

Bridge of Allan Highland Games

Bridge of Allan is one of Scotland’s premier Highland Games. They offer a packed programme of traditional cultural and sporting events. Crowd-pleasing heavyweight competitions, almost two hundred highland dancers and more than a thousand pipers are just some of the highlights of the day. You can also enjoy running, cycling and wrestling, browse among trade stands and craft stalls and enjoy a wee refreshment or two as you go.

For the young ones there are thrills to enjoy in the popular funfair, adjoining the Games field.

Parking is free, so come and enjoy!

Border Union Show

The Border Union Show is the highlight of the event and agricultural calendar for the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. There are over 175 trade stands for everything you could imagine from tractors and farm supplies to clothing and food outlets.

We are delighted to be returning for the second year in a row to the Border Union Show after an absence of many years.

Inveraray Highland Games

Located at the picturesque grounds of Inveraray Castle, the Games celebrate Scotland’s rich culture and heritage with field and track events, piping, highland dancing competitions and heavyweight events including the world championships for tossing the caber. You will also find a good selection of local Scottish food and drink stands as well many trade and charity stalls.

Games day starts with a parade from the Town to the Games field with the Pipe Band. This starts promptly at 10.45am and takes around 15-20 minutes. By then, the Piping, Highland Dancing and Track events are already underway and continue throughout the day until around 4.30pm-5.30pm. The Heavy events commence around 11.00am and continue throughout the day with the World Caber Tossing Championship around 3.30pm.

Spring Homes & Garden Open-Air Fair at Sudeley Castle

Enjoy a day out with friends while browsing a great selection of items for your home and garden as well as distinctive gifts, food and fashion - a wonderful selection of products that are not on the high street.  

Exhibitors will be housed in rows of mini marquees, each separated, with wide aisles in between in the open air . Customers can shop at any stand without getting wet, should it rain. All the benefits of an indoor marquee but with the space of an outdoor show.

Children under 16 are free. The show closes at 5 pm Thursday through Saturday and 4:30 pm on the Sunday.

Oxford Christmas Market (CANCELLED)

The traditional Oxford Christmas Market has sadly been cancelled due to planning issues. We will miss seeing everyone at our usual spot on Broad Street. However, we will be exhibiting in the Craft Cabins at Centre:mk, Middleton Hall from 11th November until close of business on 24th December and hope that some of our wonderful Oxford customers may be able to make the trip to Milton Keynes to visit us there.
